The story takes place on a South Asian island. Young Roger is about to get married to his fiancée, Malan, when his father is beaten to death by a local stronghold, and the land he has spent half his life buying is taken away from him. When Roger's bloodthirsty father sues for his life, but to no avail, he says goodbye to Marlan and embarks on a thrilling and difficult journey to avenge his father's death.
